In this post, you will find great Perfect Quotes from famous people, such as Eduardo Galeano, Milton Berle, Yogi Berra, Rekha, Dante Alighieri. You can learn and implement many lessons from these quotes.
‘Hard-working’ is what gets the jobdone. You just see that year after year. The students who thrive are not necessarily the ones who come in with the perfect scores. It’s the ones who love what they’re doing and go at it vigorously.
Every year, there is a new diet that all the celebs or housewives are trying. We all want the perfect diet or the perfect pill. If we surveyed a million women, and they couldchoose to learn the truth about God or the foolproof diet, I guarantee more women would pick the miracle diet over the miracle of life.
When you see me on TV against one of the other girls, they look 10 times better than me, and I’m OK with that. I make a conscious effort not to wear that muchmakeup and not have my hair so perfectly groomed. That’s just not me. I’m not going to be perfect.
I think what ‘The Monster’ means to me is I find it really hard – like a lot of other people in the world – to really be OK in my ownskin. It was a message to myselfsaying, ‘It’s OK that you’re not perfect.’ I’m gonna learn to love myself and accept myself, even though I’m a little crazy.
My advice to an aspiringactor would be to never stop learning or working for what you want. Nothing comes easy, ever, if you want something, you have to work for it. By working for it I mean work on your craft, learn from people who have something to teach. It’s just like anything else, practice makes perfect.
Every labelthinks, when they signsomeone, ‘This is the perfect pedigree to sign. They’re cute, they can sing, they can dance, et cetera.’ And they say to the public, ‘Here, this is what you’re gonna like.’ But you might say, ‘No, I don’t like that!’ You’ll probably say ‘no’ many more times than you’ll say ‘yes!’
If you look at ‘The Have and the Have Nots,’ I didn’t want to write a show where everyone is great and wonderful and perfect. I wanted to write it so that you’re not really sure who the haves are. You look at Hanna, and you see that she doesn’t have much, but she has great faith.
So many people are like, ‘I’m perfect.’ I’m so imperfect; that’s why I’m able to let everything out and let people see everything. ‘Cause I’m just a mess like every other person that’s a mess out there.
That’s the beauty of coaching. You get to touch lives, you get to make a difference. You get to do things for people who will never pay you back and they say you never have had a perfect day until you’ve done something for someone who will never pay you back.
We had to go all through the night thinking that our baby was dead. When God showed him to us, he wasn’t dead, he was sucking his thumb. God had him safe and sound. He is a miracle. He is so healthy, so perfect, and God has really, really blessed us.
I think that withoutsushi there would be no David Hasselhoff, because sushi is like the perfect way of describing the insides of David Hasselhoff. He is like a protein, clean and easy. That’s how I feel about myself.
As much as I don’t want to admit it, my fans are the only ones that can hurt my feelings when they’re not pleased with what I’m presenting. I want it to be perfect for them. I want them to have a differentsense of pride in my music.
I have lovedhosting over the years, simply because I love working with people. It’s the perfect job.
I’m just focused on getting to the end of each show and feeling like we’ve done a good job when we walk off stage. And a perfect show isn’t necessarily about making the audiencefeel good. I know I’ve done my job well if I’ve made people feel… interesting. I like to leave them a little stunned.
When everything is strippedaway in life, everybody is a human being that has problems, that has issues, has flaws, that isn’t perfect. It doesn’t make a difference what your sex is, what your sexualpreference is, what your race is or what your background is. If you’re a good person, you’re OK in my book.
I just have to be myself. I’m not perfect, and I’m going to make mistakes; I might say the wrong thing. I have to be responsible to my community, and I feel like I am, but then I have to not be so hard on myself.
Keeping it all together as a modern woman means multitasking, especially when you work. I think you always need to try your best, but at the same time you can only do what you can do, and you don’t need to beat yourself up about it. I’m not white-picket-fence perfect.
Everything’s not going to go perfect. You’re going to have some losses that you’re going to have to bounce back from and some things that are a little unforeseen that you’re going to have to deal with.
There’s a time in your life where you’re not quite sure where you are. You think everything’s perfect, but it’s not perfect… Then one day you wake up and you can’t quite picture yourself in the situation you’re in. But the secret is, if you can picture yourself doing anything in life, you can do it.
I really believe I’ve been a good person. Not perfect – forget about perfect – but just learning by what I was taught and living by my own values. I might have stepped on a few ants – and a few other things as well – but I’ve never hurt anybody.
Kiri Te Kanawa
My whole working philosophy is that the only stable happiness for mankind is that it shall live married in blessed union to woman-kind – intimacy, physical and psychical between a man and his wife. I wish to add that my state of bliss is by no means perfect.
Sometimes it takes a while to find that perfect balance between knowing who you are, what your sound is, and building the right team to make that happen. Once it all really comes together and it makes sense, both for the audience and your fans, there’s no stopping you.
I think life is full of challenges and problems. I don’t believe that anyone is perfect. We all make mistakes. It’s not a bed of roses, and you have to work real hard at it.
I don’t think any country is perfect. It’s our responsibility to do the best we can do to change the things we don’t like. I think that’s part of social responsibility, and everybody is going to do that in their own way.
Insects are living metaphors for me. They are so alien and so remote and so perfect, but also they are emotionless; they don’t have any human or mammalian instincts. They’ll eat their young at the drop of a hat; they can eat your house! There’s no empathy – none.
I read the ‘Old Testament‘ all the way through when I was about 13 and was horrified. A few monthsafterwards I read ‘The Origin Of Species’, hallucinating very mildly because I was in bed with flu at the time. Despite that, or because of that, it all made perfect sense.
I suppose the Church would be perfect only if it were run by perfect beings. God is perfect, and His doctrine is pure. But He works through us – His imperfect children – and imperfect people make mistakes.
There’s such a thing as good stress and bad stress. Bad stress is when somebody else stresses you out, and good stress is when you stress yourself out over something you want to accomplish, which makes you want to perfect it.
I would love to tell you that it’s been absolutely perfect, that I’ve been a man that’s been super Christian. But I’ve had mistakes, dumb things I’ve regretted, so it’s not a perfect life. But it’s one that has helped me make better decisions.
Once upon a perfect night, unclouded and still, there came the face of a pale and beautiful lady. The tresses of her hair reached out to make the constellations, and the dewy vapours of her gown fell soft upon the land.
You may not win the Super Bowl. Your kids may not go on to be doctors and lawyers and everything may not go perfectly. That doesn’t mean it was a bad plan or the wrong thing. It’s just like a football season. Everything’s not going to go perfect.
When you really need help, people will respond. Sincerity means dropping the image facade and showing a willingness to be vulnerable. Tell it the way it is, lumps and all. Don’t worry if your presentation isn’t perfect; ask from your heart. Keep it simple, and people will open up to you.
I’m very open and honest, and I feel like it’s important for women to hear that we’re not perfect; none of us are perfect. And sometimes we aspire to have these ideas in our heads of what perfection is, and I probably would’ve been better off if I’d left myself alone.
I am attracted by almost any French word – written or spoken. Before I knew its meaning, I thought ‘saucisson’ so exquisite that it seemed the perfect name to give a child – until I learned it meant ‘sausage!’
When I do a 30-minute meal, for instance, on Food Network, that’s my food you see at the end of the show and it’s not perfect. And if sometimes things break or drop or the pastahits the wall when I’m draining it, they never stop tape. They just kind of let me go with it.
Every one in the world ought to do the things for which he is specially adapted. It is the part of wisdom to recognize what each one of us is best fitted for, and it is the part of education to perfect and utilize such predispositions. Because education can direct and aid nature but can never transform her.
As a father, I always want my son to be perfect. When he was young, I tried to train him in martialarts, but he said, ‘I don’t want to become like Bruce Lee’s son, with everybody telling me how good my father was.’ I just think my son is too lazy.
The unreal is more powerful than the real, because nothing is as perfect as you can imagine it, because it’s only intangible ideas, concepts, beliefs, fantasies that last. Stone crumbles, wood rots. People, well, they die. But things as fragile as a thought, a dream, a legend, they can go on and on.
Our inclination is to show our Lord only what we feel comfortable with. But the more we dare to reveal our whole trembling self to him, the more we will be able to sense that his love, which is perfect love, casts out all our fears.
I had never thought of hosting, but a really good friend of mine said, ‘This is the most empoweredplatform to speak to young people about the issues that you care about, which is why you’re in this in the first place.’ So I was like, ‘Yeah, no, it makes perfect sense.’ And so that’s what I started doing.
Fear is not in the habit of speaking truth; when perfect sincerity is expected, perfect freedom must be allowed; nor has anyone who is apt to be angry when he hears the truth any cause to wonder that he does not hear it.
I’m there to tailor something very precisely and something very subtly to dialogue and the actor’s energy. I’m there to bring out something that isn’t spoken. ‘King’s Speech’ is the perfect film to do it.
Every traveler knows too well the endlessquest for the perfect travel bag: the one that’s stylishenough to carry through Paris, sturdy enough to tote around Peru, and – most important – doesn’t make your shoulder sag even before you’ve loaded it up with everything you need for a day of sightseeing.
The thing that you think is imperfect about you is the thing that makes you who you are. It separates you from everybody else. I have a scar on my lip, and for years I hated it. But now its become my thing. It’s like, without it, I’m not me. You can’t be perfect, so enjoy your imperfections. I can’t stress that enough.
For two years, I’d lived in SiliconValley, surrounded by other highlyeducated transplants with seemingly perfect lives. It’s jarring to live in a world where every person feels his life will only get better when you came from a world where many rightfully believe that things have become worse.
It’s true that French are not very sophisticated in the sense that they don’t dress up for dinners. They are not like Americans, where they are always perfect – the girls are not very sporty; they don’t take care of themselves as much as Americans, who always have very white teeth and are so fit.
I’d been playing Ted in the show for about a year as well as playing in the group in my spare time. Then, at the ‘Scrubs’ Christmas party, I offered to bring along the band to sing a song. The producers thought we were terrible – but perfect for the show.
I’ve pretty much given up on the orange. I really have. I just don’t even bother. It’s just either sour, or woody, or the skin’s too thick. It’s very nice when you come across the perfect orange, because it’s really a beautiful experience. But the stakes are too high.
I’ve been singing for six years. I’ve been in and out of the studios with top producers, but it wasn’t something I was ready to express to the public or to the press. I wasn’t ready to come out. I wanted to perfect my voice and be 100 percent positive that I could come out right.
During the week it isn’t always easy to sit down together and I am usually in a rush to get everyone off to school. A bowl of cereal and milk with fruit is perfect because it’s quick and easy. I like to mix it up on the weekends when we can all relax in our pajamas.
Your life isn’t about doing one perfect ‘thing’ and then falling down dead. It’s more like going to church or writing a book. You do it over and over, always trying to be a little bit better. Then you die.
The mass audience doesn’t want to see you if you aren’t perfect. If you don’t look a certain way, if you don’t have big pecs and great skin and the perfect eyes. And it’s unfortunate, because kids are growing up with body image dysmorphia because not everyone is represented on the screen.
Nature, who for the perfect maintenance of the laws of her general equilibrium, has sometimes need of vices and sometimes of virtues, inspires now this impulse, now that one, in accordance with what she requires.
The more the diamond is cut the brighter it sparkles; and in what seems hard dealing, there God has no end in view but to perfect His people.
There is nothing in this world that I love more than my family. To be able to share the joy of running with them at the Runner’s World HalfMarathon and Running Festival where we can all participate together is as close as you can get to a perfect weekend.
Perfection is an unattainable goal. It isn’t going to be perfect. Just get words down on paper, and when you stumble to what you think is the end of the book, you will have hundreds of pages of words that came out of your head. It may not be perfect, but it looks like a book.
There’s no way I can represent for everyone. I can’t represent for all women or all big women or all black women. It’s important for people not to make celebrities their source of who they should be in life. I can’t take on the pressure of being perfect. Nobody is.
When you’re editing, you want to be the perfect appreciator, not another writer.
Americans mythologize competition and credit it with saving us from socialist bread lines. Actually, capitalism and competition are opposites. Capitalism is premised on the accumulation of capital, but under perfect competition, all profits get competed away.
I love my job. But I like to have fun at work. So I don’t get finicky if one strand of hair is standing out in a shot. I don’t get finicky about brokennails. I don’t let small things affect me. I’m not perfect. Nobody is. There’s no fun in being perfect. I enjoy my work; there’s no pressure on me.
I think perfect datesinvolve walking a lot, and not a bunch of driving around in cars. Ideally, you can walk together and go to a restaurant, and then walk from there to another nice place – this is, I guess, because of really great dates that I’ve had with my wife here in Portland.
Don’t you know that every perfect life would mean the end of art?
Where would you be without friends? The people to pick you up when you need lifting? We come from homes far from perfect, so you end up almost parent and sibling to your friends – your own chosen family. There’s nothing like a really loyal, dependable, good friend. Nothing.
No parent is perfect; we all can look back and think of things we could’ve done to help our children be better prepared for adulthood. And sometimes it’s best to admit it to them and encourage them to learn from our mistakes.
My father was an amazing man. No person is perfect, and no father-son relationship is perfect. He wanted me to live my life my way and never think about what he would have done or what he would have wanted to do.
In my view, the most damaging evils that are perpetrated upon us are through some abstractnotion about good, where we’re willing to sacrifice individuals in the present for some great vision of an improved or perfect future.
You may never get to that perfect world that you’re waiting for where everything’s going to be perfect and you got that much money and your house paid off.
The fact that I fell in love with Meghan so incredibly quickly was sort of confirmation to me that all the stars were aligned; everything was just perfect. It was this beautiful woman just sort of literally tripped and fell into my life; I fell into her life.
There’s kind of a Zen aspect to bowling. The pins are either staying up or down before you even throw your arm back. It’s kind of a mind-set. You want to be in this perfect mind-set before you released the ball.
Perfectionism and procrastination have such a fine line. You say, ‘Well, I want it to be good. I want it to be perfect.’ But what you’re really doing is not doing your work. You’re putting off showing up and being visible because then you’re going to be judged, and it might suck.
I remember the first time Bill Fichtner and I had a scene together. I’ve seen him in a few movies, from ‘Armageddon‘ to ‘The Perfect Storm’ and ‘Contact,’ and suddenly he’s on a bunk bed and I’m on a bunk bed and we’re doing this scene together. That was a real ‘pinch me’ moment.
Don’t try to be somebody you’re not because it doesn’t work. If you try to be this perfect person or perfect persona of what you think that somebody should be when they’re involved in public office, it’s just not going to work. Just be yourself, stay true to your core values, and really just stay abreast of the issues.
Where I thrive is with my hands on the keyboard or my pen on the paper. One of the things I get to do is I get to rewrite. I rewrite, and I work hard on my scripts. You can rewrite until you’re ‘perfect,’ and that’s something that’s safe for me.
I’m a human, and I’m multidimensional. If I was the perfect form of anything, I’d be boring. If I was a free spirit all the time, I would be boring; I would lack depth. If I was dark and enigmatic all the time, then I would lack relatability.
‘Perfect Sense’ is a film about love and catastrophe, which I hope is a powerfully romantic and emotional take on the apocalyptic sub-genre. Its aim is to be a minimalist concept movie – where seismic events occur in simple ways that ask the audience to use their imagination.
I did study the art of being a barber because I wanted to figure out what my routine would be. Do you start in the front or back? Top or bottom? Swivel the chair or walk around? What I did discover is there’s no such thing as the perfect haircut!
Sean Patrick Thomas
There is no such thing as perfect security, only varying levels of insecurity.
Everything I’m saying shouldn’t be taken so serious. I’m playing, but at the same token, I’m acknowledging that I’m not always the perfect man; I’m not always doing the right things. That’s who I am. I’m working to be better.
I hate that impeccable, perfectly perfect look, all matched and prearranged.
I wish there were two of me and 48-hour days so I could get everything done. But for me, I have to not try and think that everything has to be 100% perfect all the time and leave room for error. As long as my kids feel loved and a priority, everything really is secondary.
My perfect day is to work incredibly well in the morning and write something wonderful, then take the dog for a walk and go for a swim in the ladies‘ ponds on Hampstead Heath or work in my allotment. Then I get tarted up in the evening and go out in London to dinner or the cinema.
There’s design, and there’s art. Good design is total harmony. There’s no better designer than nature – if you look at a branch or a leaf, it’s perfect. It’s all function. Art is different. It’s about emotion. It’s about suffering and beauty – but mostly suffering!
Having been in football all my life as a player and a coach and having been on the sideline, I think the closer we can get to bringing people what it’s like standing and watching the game on the sideline, with a better view, would be the perfect situation for television football.
The optimum amount of sugar in a product became known as the ‘bliss point.’ Food inventors and scientists spend a huge amount of time formulating the perfect amount of sugar that will send us over the moon and send products flying off the shelves.
I would love to do a Black Widow movie. That’s perfect, I would love to do that. That character is really interesting: she doesn’t have any superpowers; she just has extraordinaryskills, and the world that she comes from, being this ex-K.G.B. assassin, I find that really fascinating, yeah.
Flawed Design’ is a song on the record and it explores why people feel a need to present themselves maybe not necessarily as what they actually are. It seems like in society, a lot of people want to be or try to be perfect.
I cut the feet out of control top pantyhose one night, threw them on under my white pants and realized that the toning and shaping was perfect and that the hosiery material is thin enough that I could make shape wear out of it.
Over the holidays, and even during filming, I realized that I actually like my body, even if it’s not perfect according to the book. I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don’t want to get rid of the curves. I just want to tone it up. My body is comfortable, and it’s not unhealthy, so I’m going to rock with it.
All that men will serve God with must be done in Faith, viz. in the Spirit. It is the Spirit that maketh the work perfect, and acceptable in the sight of God. All that a man undertaketh and doeth in Faith, he doth in the Spirit of God, which Spirit of God doth co-operate in the work, and then it is acceptable to God.
The federal government has sponsored research that has produced a tomato that is perfect in every respect, except that you can’t eat it. We should make every effort to make sure this disease, often referred to as ‘progress’, doesn’t spread.
I see bad stuff on the street all the time that I don’t do anything about. I do bad stuff myself all the time. The goal is not to somehow be perfect – that’s silly, that’s naive. The goal is to just recognize there are choices in front of us, and to try to make better ones.
Our grandkids will lead the lives of the gods of mythology. Zeus could think and move objects around. We’ll have that power. Venus had a perfect, timeless body. We’ll have that, too. Pegasus was a flying horse. We’ll be able to modify life in the future.
Each moment is perfect and heaven-sent, in that each moment holds the seeds for growth.
Abraham wasn’t perfect. He failed, made mistakes. But, he would go back, get right with God, and then just keep moving forward. He didn’t quit when things got hard. He just kept on going. And everywhere he went, God was there. God was with him.
Within the soul of America is freedom of mind and spirit in man. Here alone are the open windows through which pours the sunlight of the human spirit. Here alone is human dignity not a dream but an accomplishment. Perhaps it is not perfect, but it is more full in realization here than any other place in the world.
Since traveling is such a big part of my life when I am working, I like to vacation relatively close to home. Florida is a great place for me to go and relax. It’s so close, which is perfect because it’s the minimal travel time.
The giant squid is the perfect embodiment of a sea monster: it is huge, it has tentacles, it has big eyes, and it is absolutely frightening-looking. But, most important, it is real. Unlike the Loch Ness monster, we know it’s out there.
Most important, though, I had to wait until I found the perfect traveling/eating/drinking/napping companion. And I did finally find him, two years ago – my Brazilian-born, French-speaking, wine-worshipping, tripe-consuming, uncomplaining traveler of a sweetheart.
When you have tough times, and when you learn you can’t be perfect in every situation, it’s hard to accept, you know, because I still do expect that. But you just have to, because, you know, it’s not about the situation. It’s how you deal with it. You always have a choice.
A constant stream of ‘free’ money is a perfect way to keep an inefficient or simply bad government in power. As aid flows in, there is nothing more for the government to do – it doesn’t need to raisetaxes, and as long as it pays the army, it doesn’t have to take account of its disgruntled citizens.
I think we need to just be very clear about what we’re trying to do in Afghanistan. Frankly, we’re not trying to create the perfect democracy. We’re never going to create some ideal society. We are simply there for our own national security.
People have to realize that just because you’re a Christian, it doesn’t mean that you’re perfect, because every once in a while everyone stumbles. Living by faith is about when you do mess up, getting back up, brushing yourself off, and keep trying to improve where you mess up or where you have temptation.
When I create a character, particularly my central character, I want someone who is interesting and feels real and who might have quite a few virtues but is unlikely to be perfect, who hasn’t necessarily made all the right choices.
We humans are here because nothing can be perfect. There always have to be some living things that are unsatisfied, itchy, trying too hard. If it was all just animals and rocks and lettuce, the gods wouldn’t feel like they had enough to do.
For since the fabric of the universe is most perfect and the work of a most wise Creator, nothing at all takes place in the universe in which some rule of maximum or minimum does not appear.
Personally, I’ve learned about perseverance: when you hear the word ‘No,’ and when you hear rejection, that it’s not always final. And that timing is everything, and you have to stay the course and just keep working hard and know that, when your time comes, that it will be sweet and that it will be the perfect time.
I don’t think there’s anything they can say about me that I haven‘t said about myself already. And I would be an absolute total liar, and my fans would not respect me, if I said that my life and my marriage are perfect. But we absolutely love each other; we have fun together – it’s great.
When Andrew went with the girls, we were talking all morning and he was saying, ‘It’s okay. Just remember we had such a good day. Our wedding was so perfect.’ Because we’re such a unit together. He made me feel very part of the day on April the 29th.
To sit in the shade on a fine day and look upon verdure is the most perfect refreshment.
If God had made a perfect world, it would be a magic trick, not creation, with no meaning or place for us to learn and create. Mankind is not yet ready for a perfect world. We do not know how to appreciate perfection.
Women tend to judge other women harshly. We should be kinder to each other, accept that we’re all different and can make different choices. Not go for some kind of stereotypical idea that we’re perfect. Frankly, I’m not perfect.
Anything salty and crunch is a world of perfection to me. Put chips in front of me, and I will eat to the bottom of the bag. Because I have the tendency to do this, I found these amazing EdenBrownRice Chips. They’re the perfect amount of salt and crunch, and there’s nothing in them.
Try not to get lost in comparing yourself to others. Discover your gifts and let them shine! Softball is amazing that way as a sport. Everyone on the field has a slightly different ability that makes them perfect for their position.
What is one to say about June, the time of perfect young summer, the fulfillment of the promise of the earlier months, and with as yet no sign to remind one that its fresh young beauty will ever fade.
I’m one of those people, in any country I’m in, if somebody could just put me in a car or a bus, I’ll look out the window and say, ‘OK, there’s the Tower of London, there’s Buckingham Palace, there’s Big Ben,’ and if it all takes about five minutes, perfect. I’ve seen all of it and I can go home.
I’d say I get heckled quite a lot because I look quite like an easy target. If you’re an alpha-male and you think you’ve got something to prove to your girlfriend, I think I’m the perfect person to prove your worth.
Learning lessons is a little like reaching maturity. You’re not suddenly more happy, wealthy, or powerful, but you understand the world around you better, and you’re at peace with yourself. Learning life’s lessons is not about making your life perfect, but about seeing life as it was meant to be.
I think happiness really happens when you least expect it: it’s when you’re not really thinking about it, when you’re not trying to achieve it, when you’re not trying to get the perfect holiday, the perfect life, the perfect body, the perfect existence.
In the morning, I’m like the Antonioni movies. I’m little sad. I haven’t the courage to start the day. In the evenings, I’m happier, more alive – like the character I play in ‘An Almost Perfect Affair.’
Crystalsgrew inside rock like arithmeticflowers. They lengthened and spread, added plane to plane in an awed and perfect obedience to an absolute geometry that even stones – maybe only the stones – understood.
I am not going to say I have been a saint. I have not been a perfect man. None is perfect but the Father, which is in Heaven.
I just want people to hear the music the way it’s suppose to sound, the way we meant for them to hear it. You sit in the studio all this time and make the music, tweak it, try to get it perfect. They should be able to hear it that way.
Nobody’s perfect, everybody is flawed in a way, and to recognize your own flaws and to just enjoy them is something that I try to do for myself. I do that all the time.
When I auditioned for ‘Pitch Perfect,’ I didn’t know it was a singing movie. I didn’t read the script. I go to the audition, and I’m like, ‘Oh, it’s a baseball movie.’ But then I’m reading the lines, and I’m like, ‘This doesn’t seem like a baseball movie.’
I feel like every role you take, there’s a part of you that obviously feels like you can do it. I don’t know if perfect is the right word because I don’t believe in perfection. I don’t think it exists.
Ice cream is the perfect buffer, because you can do things in a somewhatlighthearted way. Plus, people have an emotional response to ice cream; it’s more than just food. So I think when you combine caring, and eating wonderful food, it’s a very powerful combination.
Indian religion has always felt that since the minds, the temperaments and the intellectual affinities of men are unlimited in their variety, a perfect liberty of thought and of worship must be allowed to the individual in his approach to the Infinite.
The idea of doing something that I’ve never done before, that presents a new challenge, that forces me to stretch in some way – that’s kind of a perfect project for me, and especially something that has greater social, conversational ramifications. I mean what more could you want?
Really, every day is the perfect day to boss up. Every day that you wake up is a perfect day to boss up. It’s all about continuing to put one foot in front of the next. That’s what it’s about. Whatever you think you’re going through, just put one foot in front of the next.
You know how in most teenage movies the girl meets the boy, they kiss, they have some type of fallout, then there’s an awkward sex scene, and then they’re together forever? And they say the perfect things the whole way? That doesn’t happen in real life.
Great product trumps all. You can have the biggest marketingbudget, the biggest show, a perfect merchandising plan, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t mean anything if the design and quality of the product you are offering is not compelling.
